Yes, there is live music every night but no dance floor. I wouldn't say nightlife in the sense of clubs, but there are activities nightly on the resort until about 10pm. They provide the snorkeling gear for free, you do not have to rent it. I suggest bringing your own so you can snorkel as often as you like. You can only use their snorkeling gear an hour at a time. Do not believe there is a charge to rent snorkel gear - however, depends on availability and believe you are limited on the time you can use it.
