You must confirm first that Towbar Express has your make and model. Call 04 to book or use the discussion forum, while providing your car registration number with make and model details. They will confirm that they can do it before you purchase. Please note that there are limited bookings available each day and there could be up to a two month wait for installation.
Firstly the fitter was ill on 18th Oct and did not turn up - no one told me , I had to call to find out. Secondly the fitter was meant to be at DN21 5TH on 23rd Oct between 8am and 1pm - he turned up after 2pm. Thirdly the fitter left warning lights on when I started the car, he said he would fix it on Friday at 8am. I assumed he meant this Friday , 25th - no one turned up - I called him , he said he meant Nov 1st. Appointment now delayed till Wednesday 30th Oct - but no e mail confirming this has been received yet. All in all pretty poor in most respects.
We recently had a detachable tow bar fitted by Towbar Express at their Middlesbrough branch on Cannon Park, The service was second to none, fitted when we asked for and as new customers who hadn't had a tow bar fitted for pulling a caravan they went the extra mile by going through thoroughly with both of us the ins and out and tips on the use and this type of "hitch" as well as tips and use of the unit on a caravan. I will certainly recommend them to any of our friends who are in the process of getting tow bars fitted, its good to see a company that cares for their customers by going the extra mile.
