Lighting in room was very poor. Also need some more furniture, like a nightstand next to the bed. The tiny table on the one side of the bed was very cheap.
Vagabond Inn Whittier
Refrigerator not working and temp was over outside. Had just stayed in the Pasadena Vagabond Inn and the difference was night and day. Pasadena has you beat. Your pool was great.. Breakfast okay. We have been staying at Vagabond in Palm Springs for 12 yrs and at least 4 days each time. Did not know smoking in pool area was okay.
Cannot be around smoke. Date of stay: September Value. Palm Springs vacation. The hotel was infested with bugs that came from the mountains due to heavy rains.

The staff made no mention of this to me when I made my reservation and there was construction going on as well. I would not have stay there if I knew what was going on. The staff was very nice and tried to be as helpful as they could. Thank you for your review, we apologize again about the elder box beetlebugs in the Coachella Valley, we do try very hard to stay on top of them as they are here from late July to September , they a true nuisance to us as well. We are almost done with our construction at the first building we are sorry this cause an inconvenience the last of that renovation will be it for the summer project currently in play.

I stayed here with my husband and a group of friends over Labor Day weekend and we had a great time! All the hotels in Palm Springs were insanely overpriced and the Vagabond Inn was actually reasonable to we booked with low expectations. The rooms were simplistic, clean and had everything we needed. The pool was super chill and someone had a boom box and played a good selection of music the whole time.
Pierview Hotel & Suites
It was kinda bring your own games and drinks and people had plenty. The misters around the pool kept us cool in the degree weather. This hotel was unbelievably affordable for what we got. We can't wait to have you back, great prices all year long and heated pool and spa during the cooler months too!! Amazing staycation! Went here with a group of friends for a long weekend. The pool was fun and the rooms were clean with comfy beds and cold AC. It's located close to downtown Palm Springs and a great value, and everyone working there was super nice. Cool place to work. Management was great to work with. Customers are the biggest challenge here. Hard work, but nice to see the rooms clean. Coworkers were cool and easy to get along with. Productive place. Vagabond was indeed a good place to work while i was attend school my hours ae nightshift that worked out great for me at the time manager staff are really good to.
Poor management and no trust for the staff. This is why I need to leave. It was okay other than the rude management and how many hours they would cut. I did not like the mamangement or the fact that they wouldn't want you to go over time so they would have you clock out and continue to finish your work.

Manangement and security make job enjoyable and very understanding wiyh everything. It was an interesting and fun experience working for this company. It is definitely a good starter job to gain experience. You get to meet people all over the world. Fast paced hard work. Good environment but can be demanding. Hav more people on staff. Food was free, met cool people, you got to work alone magority of the time. When your along no one is there to help you.
If ppl call out your forced to work overtime. There would be times working in the front desk could be stressful, sometimes there will be a lot of customers all at ones trying to get a room and they tend to get impatient. Night audit is different and much more quitter and stable not that much customer's. Great Family Company. I loved working for Vagabond Inn, they gave me a better insight on the day to day operations.
