Wallpaper in my room was peeling off the wall in many parts of the room. Stains on the carpet. The partial lake view and view of Hancock was nice Everything about the Ritz is well thought out and planned with the guest in mind. There's Nothing wrong with luxury! The Ritz is the gold standard for class. It was very expensive. The local and state taxes made the final room costs very high and I never received an e receipt. Staff excellent and room stunning. Slight issue with cleaning issue resolved immediately on check-in so it did not spoil the stay. Would definitely stay again.
As a sole traveller concierge and door staff always happy to help and give directions etc. The room was smelly and old. Everything in the room, including towels, looked worn down. The hotel staff was courteous and very helpful. I would definitely stay here again. I have been to three star hotels better than this. I'm very disappointed in the Ritz-Carlton for this crappy hotel. This has to be their crappiest hotel ever.

I'm a Ritz-Carlton fan, I've been to multiple properties. I'd definitely stay again. Pool was closed and constantly put on long holds when trying to contact front desk or concierge. Definitely get more for your money surrounding 5 star hotels in the area. From the arrival to the departure every minute spend in your hotel was fantastic. Great professional, polite, friendly and helpful staff. Congratulations on excellent service! Pros: A clean and well kept property with nice views. Cons: The service here was less than stellar and far from the typical Ritz. Valet and check in was efficient though. Pros: This has been our second time at this Ritz. Everything is really comfortable and has a luxury touch. Cons: Although the Ritz Carlton is of course very pricey, some of the customer care is obviously only provided for additional money.

Pros: It was truly relaxing, a true getting away from the city life. The views were beautiful, the staff was extremely accommodating and accommodations were beyond comfort. Pros: The rooms are large, clean and fantastic as you would expect from the Ritz. Cons: The pool options and areas aren't the best.
A bit of a shame but not disastrous. Pros: Beautiful property, immaculately maintained. Not far from Joshua Tree National Park, which is absolutely spectacular. Pros: Staff was great. Too expensive for sub par hotel. Adult pool was over crowded with late checkout guests, no room for incoming guests. Cons: Valet parking and the fact you get charged over night as well for parking. Cons: Pools are too small for the number of guests, they were, crowded.
We booked a desert view room but the room was mainly overlooking the pool. Cons: The property has changed. There are many events for children all around the hotel-which is great for families but it makes having a truly relaxing experience, difficult.
