We wanted to explore downtown Huntsville so made the Visitor Center our first stop. The ladies were extremely friendly and helpful.
They made great suggestions for everything from tours to dining. A must stop!

We stopped by at this center and were exceptionall impressed with both the friendliness and helpful staff. We enjoyed our walk around the old town. Very interesting shops with decent prices. We're so glad you enjoyed your visit to Huntsville! Stop here first in Huntsville! I recently stopped here with my brother, his teen daughter, and my teen son before we visited the U. Space and Rocket Museum in Huntsville. I had read online that the best discounts for the Rocket museum were to be found at the Visitor's Center. Clean, well decorated, brightly lit with small museum quality exhibits. I approached the front desk and asked the two ladies working there about the coupons for the Rocket Museum.
Where we are located
Not only did they give us the coupons, but they made sure we understood how to get to the Museum, gave us a map, other brochures, and complimentary bottles of water. They introduced us to the "selfie" machine so we could have our pictures taken and then e-mailed to ourselves. They were well informed and seemed very happy to be able to share information about their city made me wish we had planned Huntsville as our final trip destination! The bathrooms were super clean and well stocked - much appreciated after visiting funky rest stop after funky rest stop bathroom on our trip to the South.

The downtown area is definitely a great place to visit. Do the Duck Hunt. It leads you all around the city seeing the park and different points of interest.
We spent the good part of a day here just walking and driving from place to place. Lots of free parking so no worries.

Adult and Family camp trainees can only be picked up on the day their program starts and returned to the airport the day their program ends.
