Pasta was dry, sauce had dry layer, no desserts. It was truly the worst buffet I've been to. Bad first impression, I won't be going back. I don't know how I get talked into coming back here by my kids. But the last few times I was dragged in here I swore it would be the last! So here we are again and for sure this is the last time regardless of what the kids say!
The food is gross. No other way of putting it. There is not much selection to begin with but what they have is discussing.
This is not your typical pizza buffet restaurant…
They have gone down hill for a long time and I don't know how they are still here. The pizza use to be the only decent thing here. Now that tastes like a card board. I will say the service is ok. Not the best. But is much better then there food. This was my first time to any Izzys anywhere and it did NOT go well. It took FOREVER to be seated, even though the restaurant was nearly empty, I couldn't understand ANYTHING the hostess was saying at all because her English was so SO bad, the place does not tell you at all it is a buffet anywhere on any signage BEFORE you are in and seated, hey I didn't know there are no plants, no music, no atmosphere at all, of any kind, nor do they even TRY to have any,the food is boring, bland, and tasteless, dry, overly salty and not refilled so the selections are sparse, the bathroom was dirty and the trash was overflowing, there were chicken bones in the barbecue chicken pizza slices I ate, more than one , the menu is unnecessarily confusing, ugghhh I won't be back.
Izzy's used to be a good place to eat - today we went to this restaurant. What a mistake - you have to seat yourself- the food is sparse and is not replaced - what is there looks like it's been out there all day - and they can't seem to keep the pans full- - we waited for 20 minutes for cinnamon buns and finally asked an employee - Her response was "oh I have to put some in the oven - it will be about 10 minutes.
It was like the employees forgot what to do - "keep the hot plates filled with food" after 30 minutes the chicken was not replenished the entire time we were there. That will be the last time we ever go this restaurant and if this is what Izzy's has become we won't visit any of their restaurants. What was amazing was we could have eaten our meal and walked out without paying - that's how much the employees paid attention.
