I'll definitely be buying parts from Lowbrow soon. The good thing about the AMF years was the style of the bikes , in my opinion they were some of the best looking bikes built , the Sportsters and Super Glides just define the Harley style. I took it down to River Road where we used to drag race our hot rods. Took off from a dead stop and ran it up over MPH. It was the most thrilling ride I ever had up till' then. From then on, I was hooked and I am never without a Sportster It has a cable clutch and not hydraulic clutch, which we would have preferred.

Safe and secure! In October I had my bike in the garage and attempted to start it. It would not start and a member came up to trailer it to the dealership. This gentleman made several attempts to start the bike without any luck. He asked me for my security code and I told him I had forgotten it. He then told me that he could override my code and start the bike. I was curious and again asked him how he could override my security code.
He told me that the dealership people have the knowledge to do this override! So basically dealership employees could steal my bike! Turns out there was a module in the starter circuit that burnt out.
