It was fun for about a month or two, but there was always this one manager who would bully me and try to bring me down. I contacted HR multiple times and spoke with the GM multiple times about this unfair treatment but they would just brush it off as if it were nothing. Every other manager wanted me to be a trainer, but this other manager "couldn't see what the other managers saw". Probably one of the worst jobs I have ever had aside from staff, the staff was amazing and I miss them all.

A fun fast pace enviroment. I totally enjoyed working at Pluckers but I am relocating to The Woodlands. I was given opportunities to learned several positions from host, take out cashier, server and bartender. I worked with great co-workers that became great friends. Their is a pre-shift before each shift where they discuss the specials and expectations of each day. The menu and alcohol test are long and detailed but learning them will set you up for success. The opportunities to move up here are based on how hard you work.

Their is a high turnover rate but over it is a great company to work for and the money is very pleasing. Not a good fit. Doubles at pluckers are 16 hour shifts. They are very fast paced and the reward is not equivalent. Tip percentages are low for all the work the servers do. Aside from that there is a lot of side work associated with shifts.. Management was by far the worst part of the job, they are inefficient and very hard on the servers. They had no middle ground. Very fun place to work.

This was one of the best jobs I've ever had. Although the working hours were sometimes hectic, it was so much fun you'd barely notice. The managers I had were so cool, they were your friend but when they needed to be the manager they did. I would only recommend for younger people just because the environment is super crazy!

The hardest part of the job was dealing with guests attitude because their table wasn't ready but we can't make the others get up so you just get yelled at and they leave Nice job. Being a waiter is a lot of work so if you can't handle having three tables and keeping up with each one then i wouldn't recommend it but the place itself is nice. Enjoyed this company, great people to work with.

Management was always willing to help. Everyone was able to get along.

Very family friendly. Great supplementary income. This is a busy and demanding restaurant, and when you work for tips, most of the time that equates to more income. There is a large amount of side work for servers and bartenders, and can become quickly frustrating if working hard every time you're at work is not preferred. You must pay for your apron and uniform. Management is carefully watched from the top down, not a very free-flowing work environment.

Pluckers Wing Bar Employee Reviews

Like any restaurant, it has its regular customer base and can be a lot of fun to get to know people. The team is also great overall, there are mostly adults working here and that helps minimize workplace drama. Great management great chances for advancement. Really love working at pluckers. The managers are great you employees are great.

And they will allways honnor you time off. Dont be worried about applying because we need you! Workers are nice. If you are in it bc you need the bonus to catch up you can just forget about it! The most unsatisfying job i have ever had. Complete waste of time.

Multi-day deals

They use you until you cant take it anymore then lie to you and promise you things that you will never see. They try to not give you enough hours at first so that you dont qualify for the bonus. Then when the bonus is due they tell you that it is a missprint. Total bs.

What you expect it to be.
