The entertainment staff were very good and friendly — always had smiles on their faces!! Stayed in Block 7: Elevator broken, 1st day. We stayed here two and a half years ago and thought that it was ok so decided to stay again as the grounds are nice and tropical.
Pros- it has tons of pools and so many tropical palm trees all over the grounds. If you like to participate in pool activities and pool parties this is the place for you. If not you can stay up top like we did for quiet. Staff is amazing. Very friendly and so helpful. Room cleaned when requested. No issues there. Cons- the rooms are so outdated. Old and dark. Mirrors got backing showing through. And no elevators. We are ok as we have no problem walking up flights of stairs with luggage.
The worst thing about this place is the food. I could almost compare it to Cuba hotels I stayed. We were basically eating to just get by as it was so bad. The steakhouse a la carte was so disgusting. Italian was horrible as well. The Asian was good. The buffet was horrible. Same type of food all week. No different potatoes. Over cooked under cooked items everyday.

I would never stay again. When we were at the airport and plane with the group staying at our hotel we heard a lot of people say they were just happy to go home for normal food.

Avoid this hotel. Our first night there we returned to our room to a huge puddle in our foyer all the way to the bed. It took two and a half hours for them to move us. This was our third time staying at this resort. We love it.
The food is always good. We stayed in building 5 this time. It was centrally located so walking to everything was easy.
