The Gamepad has to be within like 30 ft of the console to function. You have to have the console powered on at all times to use the fanepad. So I knew I was getting one. I checked out the other two and left with one of the whites. Console is in great condition for being a glossy one and the game pad is in excellent condition. This was bought from Richo, Coventry. I'd check round and get Game to do a price check. There were two in Nuneaton when I went to get one, I was tempted to buy both to have one as a spare but I thought that was greedy.
I guess the other one has gone now. As for 'grade C', mine was a bit grubby on the back of the pad, that was it. The white textured plastics aren't the best for hiding muck. The base unit is fine, and the pad works fine. At some point I might dismantle the pad and give it a good clean but it's perfectly acceptable. Their grade C seems to be better than other shops grade A!! They're on my main wii u menu although in a folder , you don't need to do any apps, on a normal original wii you'd need to load a USB loader, that doesn't need doing on a wii u.
You could use a USB stick but some games are 20gb so you'd need a big one, I used a gb hdd. Can it be like that on a normal Wii via a USB stick? I believe you can just return if quality is not as expected at no cost but its is the hassle. Might be wrong but don't think you pay return delivery costs.
Ordered, another for the collection. Stopped buying physical for anything PS4 or Switch but I still like to add to what I have especially when it's this low.

How is this a deal moderators? Cash generator is store specific, this is a one off deal. I might as well post my finds at the car boot sale!!! The Wii U isn't the best way to experience the game though. The switch version is graphically a little better and frame rate is better. I don't get this game.

A game like Skyrim is vastly superior and out years before this. Honestly people who buy whatever Nintendo turns out regardless of fact it's not that good and constant rehash of prior releases on their old platforms are a big part of the problem. I have this on the U but play it on the PC were the horrendous lazy busy work breaking weapons systems has been fixed, and you can also play it in 4k, plus add on graphics packs and textures, just some amazing work with the Cemu emulator at this point, but more importantly it allows a great game to become the perfect game it should have been before Nintendo decided to port it to their Wii U 2.
Lol But if you have a pc with say a ,, and upwards then you should try the game this way, it is simply amazing. Think Chanchi32 may have already found it earlier. Please consider buying from Argos at the same price rather than amazon. Support local companies that pay actual tax and employ local people.

I got one for Couple scratches on the case but otherwise really good condition. Yeah just wanted to draw attention to it and have all the diffferent platform versions in one place. More chance of finding A Willy Wonka golden ticket. Sorry, if it breaks within 2 years what do I get? Are you saying nothing?
If so then the assistant was very misleading which is not good at all. I did think 2 year warranty on 2nd hand tech seemed generous. Anyway I think I have a good unit so fingers crossed it doesn't break and that I haven't just tempted fate. They told me it was 2 years when I bought my used Wii U from CEX on Tuesday and the receipt seems to back this up can post a photo if needed. The only thing I haven't tested is the sensor bar.
I don't think I will use the sensor bar, I can't see myself ever using it but will test this weekend if I get time. I have been after a Wii U for a while.

I had been looking at Gumtree for a month and whilst there were occasionally some very good deals they were never local to me so I decided to get one from CEX. I visited 3 CEX stores in order to find one in good condition I live in London so this was easy to do but out of the shops I visited one of them had no consoles and the devices in other stores were in bad condition. I had given up on looking but was working in Chelmsford yesterday and passed a CEX in my lunch hour.
They had 3 devices and one of them looked absolutely spanking new. Didn't have any scratches.

I asked the assistant if I could take a closer look and it looked brand new with no marks at all so I bought it. I tested it out last night and it seems to work fine. My console did not come in the box though, the assistant say "these don't come in boxes" so he either meant the people bringing them in don't bring the boxes or possibly the store doesn't keep boxes as a policy given these are old technology now.
I am pleased with my purchase so far. Edit: The shop bubble-wrapped the console and gamepad. The cables just came in a bag.
