Everything has an extra cost eventhough it is an all-inclusive resort. Icecream, extra cost, Starbucks, extra cost, coconut drinks, extra cost, steak, extra cost, middle tables in the nightly performance area, extra cost. As long as you are not paying for the top tier experience, they will not let you forget it at every corner.
I loved the resort, it is more of a fully fledged city than a resort. You get to choose from different breakfast, lunch and dinner options. Entertainment is great at night, there is a bar that is open till late with nice music. The food and service is exceptional. Staff is very helpful. I really loved the whole stay and would love to do it again soon!

I highly recommend it. I only disliked the fact that we could not swim at the beach because of the seaweed problem, but it is not only at this resort, it applies everywhere unfortunately. The bed, rooms, beach, food, extras, property does not match the price. Staff was very friendly and helpful.. Food was good to great. Rooms were well appointed, and the grounds were well maintained. Beach area is dogged by seaweed type plants.

They try to clean it up every morning but they can't keep up with it. Didn't ruin our time here. Most of our time was spent at the Party Pool. This resort is the perfect place for anybody looking for a premium relaxing experience.
The premium experience started with a personalized check-in process with a glass of sparkling wine and a personal concierge; my nephew and I booked this trip using a popular website for booking hotels that gave us this upgraded check-in experience. We loved the room, it was a big bedroom with jacuzzi, two big beds and a terrace with all amenities including a minibar that's part of the all-inclusive experience as well as a bottle of sparkling wine and some fruit.
What a great way to welcome guests. The room was super clean, we had a concierge right in front of the section where our room was, he was always ready to help us with suggestions on what to do and our bookings for dinner. This was our first time staying at an adults-only hotel, since my nephew just turned 18, and I have to admit it was a very relaxing experience. The people who visit this resort are usually couples or adults seeking to disconnect from their busy life; the place is quiet and although there are a lot of activities this is far from being a party hotel, so keep that in mind.
One of our favorite people was Gucci, a girl from the K-Team the entertainment team , she was super friendly and gave us a lot of advice on what to do at the hotel.
We kept running into her and she kept chatting with us every time with a nice smile and a lot of good tips on how to enjoy the trip. We loved the non-crowded pools, including those with a bar, the bikes you can borrow to go around the 3 hotels of this resort and the restaurants. They also have nice beds on the beach and a nice natural swimming pool. The only caveat is the beach.
If you are looking for a place where to experience the beauty of the Riviera Maya beaches, this is not the place.

The location is not the best; you cannot swim in the beach and it doesn't have that turquoise color in the water that one expects from Playa del Carmen, but that's not the resort's fault, it's just the location.
