Their garlic cheese bread is the best I've had even beats the cheese bread at the Smokehouse in Burbank. They will replenish the bread basket per your request. I asked for a specialty drink and the waitress recommended the Creeping Charley which is basically a Pina Colada with Midori. I didn't really taste or feel the alcohol but I enjoyed the beverage since I like pineapple, coconut, and Midori.
The salmon was flaky and not fishy. The top sirloin was a nice size and cooked perfectly. There were nine shrimps served on a bed of rice for the garlic shrimp scampi entree. The carrots and green beans had the right texture and were not hard or soggy. The baked potatoes served are medium size. This steakhouse is off the 60 freeway but there are hedges and trees that block the view of the highway.
It is an old restaurant but they decorated it nicely for the holidays. They were many patrons in the dining area welcoming the New Year with dinner and cocktails. The staff was very friendly and wished us a Happy New Year as we left. We will be back again to try the prime rib and maybe for happy hour. Liked: Although a steakhouse, a very varied menu to capture whatever you just might have a taste for at that particular time.
Very elegantly decorated for the Christmas holiday season. Disliked: Extremely loud sports bar within very immediate area. Seems like there should be a wall between the two areas to cushion the noise from the bar. We had a coupon free Champaign hardly worth it. We drove 10 miles to get to it as they were one of the few restaurants open Christmas day. My wife and I both ordered Prime rib.
Both were about the same size. Aside from that both were tough and probably amongst the worst prime rib we have ever had. Half of each was pure fat. The waitress was friendly but spent most of her time chatting with other waitresses.
